Multiple Displays on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

These are the things I have tried and discovered as I work through implemeting multiple displays.

I have a 6-monitor stand and my goal is to eventually operate all 6 monitors in extended desktop mode. This page begins with a new install of 16.04.4 LTS Server and 4 monitors.

Other than the standard base install from the ISO, I have manually installed the following:

sudo apt-get install openssh-server xfce4 xubuntu thunderbird pidgin shotwell

I list these so if anyone can identify a software or dependecy conflict with something I have installed it may help someone.

Base OS

Ubuntu Server 16.04.4 LTS
Why not start with a Desktop Distro? I don't want all the extras that come by default and I prefer to install everything manually as I need it.

System HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6500 CPU @ 3.20GHz
Graphics 1 Sky Lake Integrated Graphics
Display Port 1 → HDMI - HP24uh
Display Port 2 → Unused
VGA → HP LE1901w
Graphics 2 PCI Radeon HD 5000/6000/7350/8350 Series
HDMI → HP24uh
DVI → HP LE1901w

Desktop Managers

Current Software

sudo apt-get install arandr

Attempting to layout the screens as they are installed above, this is what I get…

Notice the dark gray border does not expand to include the monitor labeled DP3

Looking up error online, I found:
No nvidia files were found to uninstall

sudo apt-get install --reinstall xserver-xorg-video-intel libgl1-mesa-glx libgl1-mesa-dri xserver-xorg-core
sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg
